SVE Blowers

Soil Vapor Extraction (SVE) is a technique to rapidly remove volatile contaminants from the subsurface. Once the pilot test has been completed and the required flow-rates and vacuums have been determined the selection of the proper equipment can begin. At NES we have specified SVE systems using the following blowers and pumps:

  • Rotary Lobe Blowers used for low to medium vacuum at higher flow rates
  • Rotary Claw Blowers used for low to high vacuum at lower flow rates
  • Regenerative Blowers used for low vacuum at lower flow rates
  • Liquid Ring Pumps used for high vacuum applications

SVE Remediation Components include the following standard equipment:

  • Moisture Separator with emergency high level switch
  • Inline Filter
  • Vacuum Relief & Air Dilution Valves
  • Pressure/Vacuum gauges rated for the application
  • Temperature gauge(s)
  • In-line & discharge plumbing rated for system vacuum & flow

At NES we can also supply portable pilot test equipment for site characterization. This test equipment comes fully equipped with instrumentation to generate accurate site data. Contact our sales or service team for assistance.
